Between May 2008 and March 2011, Okidata introduced the B410 series of monochrome printers, which included the B410, B420, B430 and B440 and their MFP counterparts, the MB460, MB470 and MB480. OEM-rated print speeds ranged from 28 pages per minute (ppm) to 30 ppm, with duty cycles ranging from 50,000 to 70,000 pages per month.
The supplies set for the B410 family is made up of toner cartridges available in yields of 3,500 pages, 7,000 pages and 12,000 pages, and a separate drum unit yielding 25,000 pages (all yields are OEM-stated). Usage depends on the printer model and geographic market in which they are sold. Toner cartridge and drum unit SKUs also vary depending upon the market region in which they are sold. All toner cartridges require chips for the printers to function correctly.
